  • Reference IDs entered manually by users
  • Verification requests initiated via QR code scanning

  • Basic device and application usage logs

VeriMaji does not collect personal data such as phone numbers, email addresses, contacts, or biometric information.

2. Camera Permission

The application requests camera access solely for scanning encrypted QR codes present on official documents. Camera access is used only during active scanning and is never used in the background.

3. Use of Information

Information collected through VeriMaji is used exclusively for:

  • Authenticating official documents
  • Displaying verification status and details
  • Maintaining local verification history
  • Detecting and reporting fraudulent activity
  • Improving system security and reliability

Data is never used for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

4. Data Security

All verification requests are transmitted over encrypted channels and validated against a secure central server. VeriMaji implements tamper-resistant mechanisms to ensure authenticity and data integrity.

Verification history is stored locally on the user’s device and is not shared with third parties.

5. Fraud Reporting

If a document is identified as suspicious or invalid, users may submit a fraud report through the application. Submitted reports are sent directly to the authorized legal and security team of SoftMaji InfoTech Pvt. Ltd.

6. Internet Connectivity

An active internet connection is required to verify documents against the central verification system. Offline mode does not perform live validation.

7. Children’s Privacy

VeriMaji is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
